All cruiser, street, dual-purpose and sport motorbikes are welcome, as long as they are street and highway legal.

Associates
We allow a small percentage of non-mason members to ride along, as long as they promise to behave themselves.
Like every other Widows Sons Chapter, Knights of the Craft sponsors or participates in local charity runs or events, and partakes in regular official rides throughout the year. In all cases, we strive to present a positive image of our Association and our Fraternity to the public at all times.
WORLDWIDE
Widows Sons was founded in 1999 by a brother in North America who believed there was a need for a ‘Riders Association” made up of Masons with the purpose of looking after Widows of Masons - nothing different to what Masonry teaches us.
SOUTH AFRICA - GRAND CHAPTER
With this as inspiration, the first Chapter was started in South Africa in 2010, with the inaugural ride on 18 July 2010 and simply called Widows Sons South Africa (WSSA). This Chapter is now the governing body or Grand Chapter. The original members have remained and all Presidents and Vice Presidents sit on the committee of the Grand Chapter.
CENTRAL CHAPTER - THE KNIGHTS OF THE CRAFT
As one can predict, no sooner was the WSSA founded there was a need to have other Chapters to cover the various geographic areas around the country. Such was the growth of the Widows Sons membership in the Gauteng province that in 2015 the Central Chapter or Knights of the Craft was founded, and this Chapter continues to grow at a rapid pace.
Other Chapters in South Africa: East Rand Chapter (Sons of Hiram), Western Cape Chapter (Hiram's Ashlars), Bloemfontein Chapter (Sons of Solomon), East Coast Chapter KZN (Tylers Swords) and the Eastern Cape Chapter (Spirit of Hiram).
WHY I'M A WIDOWS SON
WBro Lance Epstein. The bond amongst my brethren, where family comes first. Supporting widows and charities, riding the open road and having our loved ones join in. A natural extension of brotherly love.
WBro Mark Marillier. A brotherhood that stands for what I believe in, a bond that is stronger than blood. I believe that I am a better person because of the company that I choose to keep around me. I have found my home, I am a Widows Son and proud of it. WSFF1.
